The blur
XoreIt’s hard to believe it’s already the 9th of April. Time flies fast, sometimes you wonder if it got swept under the rug or accidentally taken out with the trash… where did it go? Just yesterday was christmas, and the day after was easter, and now the year has gone and found it’s way a full quarter done and gone. Weeks fly by in a blur, and nothing changes, nothing that you might expect.
I never really noticed it until the second year of university… It seemed like mere weeks ago that a group of my friends and I stayed the night over studying, cramming late for an 8:30 exam… the first final exam that we’d ever experienced. And henceforth whenever i ponder time, i always find the same thing to be true. It just disappears without trace. Second, third, fourth years of university came and went. Now, even after several months of taking a well needed break, i’m still finding that time hasn’t slowed down. It still blurs, just without the annoyance of having regularly scheduled classes to attend, projects to complete, tests to write…

Yes, <insert really bad photoshop image here> … pseudo time lapse effect. It just blows on by. An interesting aside, is that the future is always slow in coming. It seems so far away, a hundred tomorrows between now and next semester, but the end of last semester was just days ago.
This evening i went to watch Finding Neverland at my friend’s place. While slow, it was nevertheless a really nice movie to watch. Johnny Depp did a great job, and special mention to Kelly Macdonald who really caught the essence of Peter Pan (imo).
I’ve added a bit more content to the site and updated some of the links, etc. Gravatars are now enabled, and by default, you’ll be a stick. I’m probably going to be doing some code alterations to allow randomizing of default gravatar, so being a stick will suck less. You’ll also probably be inclinded to notice that i’m ever adjusting and updating the stylesheets. Sorry about that. just reload the page and you’ll be fine. If any of my pages are totally out of whack though, for any given browser, please don’t hesitate to let me know. I expect more content also to be going up in the near future. I’ll try to stay posted

Hmm, yeah, I know what you are talking about. Past year went by so fast for me. Yet sometimes time seems to have died. With the days crawling past.

Very true. Time flies bye like no other thing, and there’s nothing anyone can do to stop it. If you sit down and think about it, it’s downright scary.
Sometimes I ask people if they’ve done this or that, and they’ll reply “I’ve been so busy, I didn’t even have time to think about it”, or something along those lines. Well, there is no time for /anything/ in life. You’ve got to /make/ time for things. Just gotta be sure you’ve your priorities straight.
