It was simply a matter of getting the right combination of addslashes, stripslashes, str_replace("\'","''", str_replace("\\","\\\\", str_replace("'","''", together in the right order... It was somewhat anticlimactic, but at least this leaves me with time to get back on track with locus this evening. Unless there's other big things that need to be done to the system before llp's monthly update. (I hope not) Actually, i finally got it working about 20 minutes ago.
